Student Library Cards Application

Student Library Cards Available to Joliet Area Students

We are thrilled to announce a new partnership between Joliet Public Library, Joliet Public Schools - District 86, Joliet Township High School (JTHS) and Troy Community Consolidated School District 30C, made possible in large part to the passing of House Bill 2096 "Cards for Kids Act."

All residents of Joliet Township and Rockdale who are students of Joliet Public Schools - District 86, Joliet Township High School and Troy CCSD 30C are now eligible for Joliet Public Library student cards at no additional cost to the household.

All students of District 86, JTHS and Troy CCSD 30C who are City of Joliet residents, or residents of neighboring communities, are also invited to apply for library cards through this process.

Your child will receive a Joliet Public Card in the mail upon receipt of the application. Students who reside in neighboring towns (ie. New Lenox, Shorewood Troy, Channahon-Minooka, Plainfield or Manhattan) will have their information routed to the appropriate library for consideration.

We look forward to having your child as our newest member of Joliet Public Library!
