Drive Up Services at the Black Road Branch
Holds Pick-up: A drive up window is available at the Black Road Branch for holds pick-up. If a staff member is not at the window, please ring the bell.
You may also select “Joliet Public Library Drive-Thru Window” when placing your holds online and it will be ready at the window for your convenience.
Library Card Applications and Renewals: Senior patrons and those with limited mobility can apply for or renew their library cards at the pick-up window at the Black Road Branch.
Patrons who wish to utilize these services must make an appointment by contacting the circulation desk at the Black Road Branch at 815-846-6501. An appointment is required for these services to ensure the efficient use of the pick-up window and its drive-through.
Patrons will then receive information on what documentation to bring and the time of the appointment.
Pick-Up Window Hours: Monday-Saturday 9 am-5 pm and Sundays 1-5 pm (when the Library is open)
