The Joliet Public Library is thrilled to introduce a new shade on the Black Road Branch (BRB) patio, brought to you by the Friends of the Joliet Public Library.
The canopy offers library patrons a shady space to read, study, listen to music/audiobooks, or just relax and enjoy the outdoors. Located right next to the Rock Run Trail and a beautiful view of the surrounding forestry, there is a high chance of encountering the beautiful wildlife that frequents the area.
The patio shade will come down for the first snowfall of the season. But don’t worry! The canopy will return once the spring weather arrives and there’s no more snow in the forecast. Check out the new shade before it gets too chilly.
Thank you to the Friends of the Joliet Public Library for their generous donation. The shade will bring many good times to the outdoor space at BRB for years to come.
