The Digital Media Studio (or DMS) is located in Lower Level at the Ottawa Street Branch of the Joliet Public Library.

  • Wednesday: 9 a.m.-9 p.m.
  • Thursday: 9 a.m.-9 p.m.
  • Friday: 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

Services are FREE of charge for library patrons! Just pay for your printing or when purchasing flash drives.

What you need to use the DMS?

Valid/good standing Joliet Public Library card

USB flash drive or external storage device to save you work

 

who can use the dms

Valid/good standing Joliet Public Library card patrons.

Joliet Public Library cardholders 9-years old and above are eligible to use the DMS without a parent or guardian. 

Staff members highly recommend that caregivers accompany all children under the age of 14 and reserve the right to request assistance from a caregiver.   

  Patrons from other libraries within area guidelines may drop-in for the use of editing stations and access to the poster printer. DMS Staff will not be able to assist.  

What can you do in the DMS?

  • Print large format posters, laminate items, 3D printing and t-shirts printing
  • Record music, voice, instrumental, podcasts and sound design
  • Produce videos for commercials, social media, music videos or Youtube
  • Restore old photos, digitize VHS, 8mm, vinyl or cassettes
  • Graphic Design Help creating  logos, posters, business cards etc. 
  • Shoot product photography or portraits
  • Update your website or social media
