Instructions:
Go to jolietlibrary.beanstack.com or download the Beanstack Tracker mobile app to track your reading. Through the app, click + to add a book. Choose to scan ISBN or search for a title. Log your past reading, clicking “next” through the date and minutes, then track your pages. Mark that you finished the book. Watch a video tutorial on logging pages here.

If you already have a Beanstack account, all you need to do is register for the 2024 Summer Reading Challenge. To sign up for a Beanstack account for your whole family, visit jolietlibrary.beanstack.com or download the app.
Library cards are not required. Everyone is encouraged to participate!
Some books don’t have page numbers, including picture books, manga, ebooks and audiobooks. Those books still count! You can look up the number of pages in the print copy on the library catalog or on Amazon. Picture books are generally 32 pages. Books read together as a family count for each of the readers and listeners.
Prizes will be available July 1-August 3 at either library location.
